So I've seen surge protectors in-line world rated (100-240) that have RJ45 (like APCs), but no USB. I've also seen multiple plug 3-prong surge protectors with USB but no RJ45 (like the 3-prong Belkin one)
Anyone know of a lightweight surge protector inline (or not) with RJ45 protection AND USB? How about one that works universally 100-240V? Or am I simply asking for too much?

I know it's not quite what you're looking for, but... how about getting on with RJ-45 and plugging in a USB charging device.
Though I think RJ-45 surge protectors are kind of useless as long as your switches and other computers are also on a surge protector. No place for a surge to come from, then. -
Wow that so didn't answer my question Hep.
This comes so close.. too bad I don't live down under.

Anyone else think of anything? -
Okay, cool. Have a good search then.

On second thought, I realized an integrated Rj45 is more important as I can always add on the USB. In fact my standalone phone battery charging cradle has a USB port for power. Since i always seem to bring that with me on trips, I'll probably just use that for auxiliary power for USB when I really need it (which I digress isn't that often).
With that in mind what's everyone's on this item:

Should i go with a diff brand? Is it relatively small? This would potentially be going with a netbook in one of those checkfast solo cases with limited space, so the smaller, the better!
Thanks
