Bose is a bit overpriced vs their quality in my opinion; while they do sell some nice products, you still pay partly for the name. Thats my opinion considering i dont much about computer audio (i just use one 3.5 to 3.5)

I surely wouldn't go with bose. I'd get logitech before I'd get a bose system. I'm a fan of Klipsch, except the 5.1 system they used to sell is very hard to find now days.

I really like my Logitech Z680. They provide great sound quality, especially for their price. When I got them, they were around $300, but I've seen them go for $100 nowadays. I should add though, that no speaker set for $100-300 will provide audiophile/professional quality sound. Nevertheless, I think the Z680s do a fantastic job and that you probably won't notice/care that they aren't "professional" grade, the sound quality is that good (in my opinion of course).

Edit: I'm not alone in thinking the Z680's have great sound quality. Check out pretty much any review of them.

jl, for the 30 dollars more with my link, you get so much better quality.

logitech makes good mice, but i would never buy speakers from them unless i heard amazing things from a lot of places about them.
