I recently bought this device http://www.amazon.com/EasyCap-Capture-Adapter-Editor-Software/dp/B001BWU8US

I received it today. I installed the drivers. Then I went to 'my computer' and the device appeared. I connected my composite security receiver and then opened up the device in 'my computer'.
But all I see are black and white lines :) ... ... :(

BTW I also tried my digi camera which has composite output but no luck :(

    Any idea's anyone?

    Thanks

    Moved to Accessories forum.

Is there some software that comes with it that you use to open up the video stream?

yes it came with Ulead(a video editing program) and I have the option to capture using it. But i get the same picture. Also I tried the capture on windows movie maker, but same thing.

Also I just noticed something. I turned on my camera and while the cam was booting and showing its animation when it boots, I opened the device in my computer and I saw a frozen image of the camera's booting animation
    but it was frozen.
