Does anyone use a TV Tuner with their Inspiron 9300?

Looking for user opinions and available options to use with Windows MCE 2005?

    Bayou,
I ordered the USB2 PVR with mine. Can't say that I'm a big fan as of yet. It's biggish although easily transportable if for some reason you would want to take it with you. I haven't gotten the FM radio tuner to work with MCE, yet. But that could be a result of not having updated the drivers for it yet (1.1 vs. 2.something). You might look for a PCMIA tuner if there's one out there? Also, seems like there should be more documentation with it.

I had the problem with the tuner and finally stumbled on the answer. Follow the directions from Hauppaugh but add one small thing. WHat hey really mean is unselect the enable access to this program don't mess with the radio button at all say ok etc and exit the dialog. Go back in and reselect the check box say ok ... try the media center it should be there. Mine was.

The tuner is nice and it comes with the mediacenter remote as well as the irda and blaster. I also updated my drivers and all is ok. Media center sometimes looses track of the tuner I think I may have pulled it while media center was up.

    JustJim,
Hey thanks! That worked like a charm! Geez. I don't know how you figured that one out! I tuned it to the station that I had on in another room. It sounds like MCE caches the feed and so it's about a second or so behind the live feed.
