I'm not quite sure where to put this thread... is the TV an accessory?

I'm having problems getting my Sony Bravia KDL 32L4000 LCD TV to display properly. I have it hooked up via HDMI. When I have it set as my primary desktop, everything looks great at 720p. When I set it to 1080p, the edges of my screen cut off, and the "resize HDTV desktop" in my nVidia control panel won't work. It'll let me resize, but when I click "apply", I'll lose my settings. Furthermore, when I select my laptop screen as my primary monitor, the HDTV cuts off in the same way as when I have it set as 1920x1080 primary, while the control panel indicates that it's still displaying at 720p.

Does anyone know what can be causing this issue? I know I posted a similar thread a couple of months ago, but I never realized that it works perfectly as primary monitor at 720p, so I thought maybe that might lead people more knowledgeable than me to a solution.

Your Bravia isn't able to display 1080p, because its native resolution is 1366x768

That would explain a lot :D. Any ideas on how to get it to stick to 720p as a secondary display? It seems to automatically want to go to some higher resolution and bringing it down to 720 doesn't change the picture at all.
