As you mentioned, I would go with the Adaptec gamebridge. There are nicer ones out there that are better for recording TV and stuff like that, but for what you are wanting to do, this will work great. The AVC-1400 is made just for the connection of a game system into a computer, the AVC-1410 is so you can also hook up a TV signal so you can watch TV on your computer as well.

Interested too.... I have a T42 and unfortunately, can't buy a TV now, but i would love to play the XBOX 360 through it.

If i get the Gamebridge adapter, will I have any other limitation? Like minimal system requirements? Do I need a powerful a graphic card?

Will I see any lag in transmission?

    Thanks

    Nat

    I doubt it
The Tuner receives the console's video signal so the one working with the 3d graphics will be (in your case) the Xbox, not your computer. So basically, what your computer does is playing a video, nothing about loading 3d graphics or anything like that.
