I have been researching this topic and am not quite clear as to what my options are. I would like to purchase a bluetooth headset with microphone for the TX. I have a language learning software that requires me to speak into the microphone and the computer analyses phonetically if i am saying the words right. I don't know if that is "voice recognition" that I require. While I am at it I would like to have the option of having stereo sound. I see something by Plantronics.

Anyone has a comment on what exactly I should be looking for?

There are many of these available for hands-free cell phone use. I'm wondering, though, whether you can leave one of these paired with both your computer and your cell phone or whether you'd have to keep re-pairing it. Does anyone know? If these are convenient to use both ways then it opens up a lot of options.

I am not really interested in the hands free cell phone function but this is all I can find when I search around. What is a gaming bluetooth headset?

I imagine those are intended for networked multiplayer games which allow voice chat.
