Hi everyone, I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad II couple of weeks ago and I'm looking for a good pen. I am a student so I'd like to manage to take notes on it instead of having to use notepads. I bought a generic one but the point is so big it's useless. Can you give me some advice on something that will work better? I don't mind spending a bit more for something durable that will do the job properly![]()
Thanks!

IIRC , the ThinkPad 2 tablet uses Wacom technology so you should be able to use a variety of different Wacom styluses like ones that were used in older Wacom tablet PCs (like the Fujitsu lifebook T5010) or some smartphones/tablets like the Galaxy Note series

Actually, there are version of the TPT2 without the digitizer. If that is what the OP has, they're SOL and can't get a "traditional" Wacom pen. To be honest, note taking using a capacitive pen (get the capacitive wacom bamboo pen if you can, careful, there are other types of Bamboo pens) just doesn't compare to the experience using a dedicated digitizer w/ pen (either Wacom or latest nTrig). There are however better capacitive pens than the cheap ones, but you'll still have a fat round rubber tip at the end of the pen.

plenty on ebay

For the record, not all Wacom pens are cross-platform. My T5010's pen does not work on Wacom Cintiqs for example (and vice versa).

Yup. All "Penabled Tablet PC" pens should be cross compatible. However, the Cintiq and Intuos lines use different technology. The exception to this would be Wacom's own tablets which use the Intuos digitizer tech.

I use a Penabled Tablet PC pen on my Lenovo and it works fine - I can suggest that. Good luck
