    Are there any other tablets out there besides apple iPad that has retina display? I'd love to get one now that school is starting to replace this chunky old laptop I've been bringing.

    There are no other tablets that have Retina display because Retina display is a proprietary buzzword that Apple cooked up. The Acer Iconia A700 and Asus Transformer Infinity both have a similar resolution.

    ^What he said. But there really is no point in that high of a resolution in a tablet. It's a waste of battery and then the tablet has to hold a larger battery (and then possible BE larger).

    Eh, I don't know, I actually really enjoy my ipad 3. Lasts 10 hours before needing to recharge and unlike what I've heard from a lot of reviews mine takes just under 5 hours to recharge from 5% battery life left. Movies and games look fantastic on the resolution too. Haven't tried using the kindle reading app for it since I just use the kindle I bought nearly a year ago for that.

    Just look for pixel pitch same size or smaller...
