i have the kensington pilotmouse laser wireless which uses 2.4ghz wireless, no lag. the battery life is decent maybe once a month with heavy gaming andleaving it on. the "power saving" isn't so great. just get 4 rechargable nimh 2100+ mAh batteries and jeep them on a rotation. only complaint is that the click on the 4 way scroll wheel is weak to non existent. As a mouse, it's excellent and the ribbed rubber grips are nice.

I have a targus rechargable wireless laser mouse. It works great. The charge on the batteries last a good while before it needs recharging. It was only about $22 at Office Depot. Both Kingston and Targus are good companies. In the end it all comes down to which one is more comfortable for you. Brand is not as big an issue as comfort and function.
