    Very quick question...

For the Targus notebook surge protector (specifically model PAPWR001UX, but it's the one that is curved on the top with a cord sticking out one side), if the red light for "surge" is on, does that mean my surge protection is working properly? I was amazed that I could not find the answer to this question through multiple internet searches and by combing the Targus website. I'm hoping someone here knows.

    Thank you :)
