    Hello hello,

I'm a student looking for a nice laptop mouse (just because it's easier for me than using the mousepad) and I'm stuck on deciding between the two listed in the title. Both are laser, wireless and use a 800 dpi laser sensor.
I know that the VX Revolution is supposed to be the luxurious one of all the notebook mouses, but it has a high price point. However, right now I can get the VX for 20 bucks ($50) more than the HP ($30) because of a sale in Canada.
I was just wondering your opinions on the two (I can't find any reviews on the HP Laser Mini Mouse Wireless), and most importantly to me the size difference? I hear the VX is quite large...

    Thanks in advance! :)

*Edit* Sorry I meant touchpad instead of mousepad!

There's no contest, get the VX revolution. Trust me, it's worth the extra money.

Haha I thought so. But I guess my major concern is portability. Does anyone know if the size of the VX is much larger than the HP mini?

Btw, in case anyone was wondering if the prices were strange, it's Canadian :D

It's slightly bigger and heavier than the HP. I just got it at FS for $50 and it's worth it. It's smooth accurate and I just love the scroll (It takes some getting used to but once you're used to it).

The battery lasts on average 3-4 months on the VX. My friend has one, I used it and caused me to get one. One problem with having a corded mouse is most desks are either small or cluttered with books and it's just nice to move the mouse without thinking about the cord.

There's always the VX Nano ... but the price tag is up there.

It's not even available in Canada. Or at least I can't find it anywhere.

It's available right now but it ain't cheap. When it comes to Bestbuy there's a good chance it'll go on sale and that's what most of us Canunks wait for.

Cool thanks for the feedback everyong. I decided on getting the VX because of the recommendations posted here (mainly because if I'm going to be using a mouse somewhere, chances are there will be enough room for this bad boy). Also the deal on for it right now seems like a steal (43 dollars off at BB in Canada). I'm sure I'll enjoy it!
