I have tNF's Borealis for more than 5 years and is happy with it-- but I found the size of its laptop pocket to be a bit strained for a 15" laptop with extra batteries, so I decided to find a larger one from the same brand that holds 17".

Right now I have shortlisted two:

    1. Surge, tNF's laptop pack in which people frequenting here should be familar with, and

    2. Base Camp Compressor. It is not dedicated for laptops, but the position of its main compartment zippers are towards the back and hence is more convenient than rest of the their backpacks.

While much have been written about the Surge, I didn't see anything on the Compressor-- so can anyone help me choosing between these? Any help would be appreciated!
