I've always thought it was a cool idea but very unnecessary. Unless you're a hardcore gamer, in which case you may find a use for it.

It's useless unless you've never seen a keyboard before and have no clue where letters or shortcuts are.

I think the Optimus keyboard is a pretty sweet idea. If it doesn't cost like $200 to buy, I'll be considering it.

Well, mice and keyboards are essential but $200 for either is pushing it. $50-60 is reasonable for either and anything over $90 is pushing it, thus the comments about the pricetag for the keyboard.

Sure its cool and all, but is it REALLY needed?

Plus, lifespan + wear and tear factors in, and well....

I'd definitely pick one of these up . . looks great. Not really concerned about the price.

However, it's not avaliable yet. If you see if for sale, please post the link to it. :D

It makes good sense for people who need to type with different keyboard arrangements. Thos who switch between US and various European keyboard layouts, for instance, or more so those who switch between Roman, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, or various Asian keyboard layouts. There are plenty of users for whom this would be very beneficial.

Well, the only reason most people are going to be buying it is going to be because it's such an awesome keyboard and everyone who sees it is going to drool. It's all about the geeky ego! :D
