I found this one deserving special attention for us, laptop users on the move.

looks kinda cool, but the wheel looks weird. this isn't anything special though; there are a few notebook wireless mice that hold the receiver. personally, I use a bluetooth mouse so no receiver is necessary.
-
Interesting, but it lacks the extra buttons that I've become accustomed to.
-
It doesn't even have a tilt wheel. That should be standard by now. You can't manufacture a mouse in 2006 with no tilt wheel.
I like the over all design of it though. Nice strong colors and a cool way of storing the reciever. I like the comment (see the link) that the reciever should be a flash drive. I never even thought of it. Wouldn't have to be big but would be kind of neat. It could hold firmware info and user settings and software for the mouse so that you wouldn't have drag around the installation cd or download the software for another computer. Actually, that's a fantastic idea. -

Is this mouse not a little small, looks more for a woman.
I have on the road a V500 and thats even small.
I get cramp in mine hand if it is too small. -
Wireless mouses are unreliable, more expensive and annoying. They keep on running out of battery and I always have a problem with them. The point of a laptop is to have everything in one component, not having things like USB adaptors and recievers sticking out off the side. I find that annoying. I know wireless mouses can be useful, but when you're travelling, you won't really use your mouse, would you....you would really only use it when you're on a long flight for example. If you want a reliable mouse that's small and compact, go for a wired mini optical mouse. These days, mouses come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and you can get very small wired mouses
