I just ordered my clevo notebook with 8800GTX and i was wondering what accessories i have to buy. Basically i have about $300-400 US to spend and I am planning to buy Zalman NC-2000 (notebook cooler) and a gaming mouse. I need some recommendations on the brands and products.

    Thanks

lol a head check would be the first thing. Because it will be out of date within 10 -15 days (quad cores on the way).

I like the Razer products, big fan, and no it's not just hype either. Great quality :D

Besides for a mouse and cooler you should be all good.

The cooler you want will be perfect. If it performs like the 15" model it will be perfect.

I own both a razor (on my laptop) and a logitech mouse (on my desktop) and honestly I love them both. I am not overly picky on my mouse though, so long as it has a good response time, my hand will get used to the shape. Speaking in terms of height, the razor is a "flatter" mouse while the logitech is more of a "rounded" mouse at least to me anyways.

Do you have a good set of headphones / microphone setup? I generally don't use my headphones but when I am at a buddies house or lan for example I bring them so its easier to hear and not distracting to anyone else.

A decent mouse pad would be good too.

Not that you need to buy one (have a buddy make one or find one, their cheap enough to be free from the right sources) but having a network cable handy is always nice.

For 3-400 bucks do you have all the games you want to play on it too? You could go on a shopping spree the week it is being shipped and pick up all the titles you want to play on it.

    Hope that helps!

Logitech G9 mouse without question. I really like having profiles on the mouse. I have one profile for regular desktop and another for gaming and it can detect games and switch between the two automatically.

A bit more expensive than others but hey what's an extra$100 when you've spent $3k :D

Actually i am thinking of buying G9 or Razer Deathadder , unsure yet. My laptop has microphone built up so i dont really need to get one. I think headphones aren't necessary for me because i don't really play CS and stuff like that , my house is pretty quiet too so i can hear the sound clearly i guess.

Well , i am currently playing Crysis and World of Warcraft , i really loved playing Crysis . With my new gaming lappy , i would definitely love to play with high settings option.
