It says it has a padded spot and everything, but I'll have quiet a few books. I wish the laptop compartment was on the outside pocket of the bag, but it's always the side I'll constantly bump against.
Basically, I don't want keyboard markes on my screen from being pressed by books.
Any ideas?

if you are looking for something to protect your screen, get something like the shaggymac or other microfiber keyboard covers.

I don't really want that, just a good messanger bag. Hoping someone on here has used these...

Ok, update.
I went to CircuitCity to check out the bag mentioned above. Totally not what I needed at all. However, while I was there, I saw and purchaced this:

By the same company, it has the laptop compartment on the outside, away from the body.
They only this is that it is measured at 18x13x6 on the site and mine is actually 19x14x5 empty. Jetblue, which I am using Thursday, has a maximum personal item size of 18x15x8. The added inch is ONLY from the phone case stiched on the side, and I can scrunch it in, so I think I'll be just fine.
It fits the 1210 and the power adapter PERFECTLY in the laptop compartment. With both items, neither are too snug, nor do they shift around. -
Just realized something >.<
The laptop is in the outside flap, like I wanted, but the flap is about .25 inch less wide on each side of the pocket. Thus, not waterproof for the laptop spot. Poop on a stick. Keeping it, but I guess I'll need to find a good slipcase too. Ugh, I though this was over.
Where I am going (Williamsburg, VA) is a rainy town, so it will be a necessity that it be protected properly.
Thinking of an Ogio Hip-Hop for my 1210 and school books - Good idea?
