How much resistance does the wheel provide when in not in free-spin mode? Mine, at least, seems to be less so than on my MX518. How are yours?
Edit: To clarify, if I run my finger across it and let go, the wheel, even not in spin mode, will continue spinning for 1/4 second.

Well, the wheel clicks quite/a bit hard (sound), but since the wheel is quite heavy it will spin for about 1/2 of a second. I really like it's spin!

i ddint like the wheel spin, i found it to be a bit too free for my tastes, this was not in free spin mode.
switching guns during a game might be annoying when it accidentally switches to the wrong gun! -

My VX revolution provides enough resistance that it won't free spin in the click mode.
-
Not even when you spin it as hard as your can?
Also, how mcuh dead space is there when you guys move the wheel left and right? Mine has a noticeable bit of dead space in the centre between when the mouse uses its scroll left/right functions. -

If I spin it as hard as I can, yes it will move, but every mouse I have used will do that (at least every comfortable, worthwhile mouse). Mine wiggles a tiny bit left and right, but it is only noticeable if you are looking for it specifically.

Alright, I'm just making sure I didn't have a dud and seeing if I was just being too particular. Thanks guys.

I know this is a tad bit off-topic, but how is the VX in gaming?
-
Nate, VX works fine for gaming. Ive used the MX510, V270, G7 and VX. As you probably know most gamers prefer a higher dpi but I find the G7 and V270 too sensitive. After switching back to the VX's my gaming scores actually improved because I guess Im used to 800dpi(?) -
