    Tom Bihn "Ego" or "Empire Builder"?

    Hi guys, I think I've finally narrowed down my choice of laptop messenger bag to these two choices:

    Empire Builder

    OR

    Ego

    The Empire Builder looks a little less casual, but it also looks as if it might be able to hold more than the Ego.

    However, I like the Ego's look a little more than the Empire Builder, but I'm concerned with how much it can hold.

    I need something that can hold a 15" MBP, and textbook or two, a notebook, and various things like pens, calculator, iPod, etc.

    Any recommendations?

    Really? Man I really don't like the patched stripe down the middle (kind of star trekish) and pods on the side (unecessarily wider without increasing volume). Well, not that it looks like crap so much as the empire builder looks really good. Well laid out, clean design, 1700 vs 1400 cu in.

    I don't know man, different styles I guess. But you want bigger anyways, I'd shell out the extra $20 for the EB no contest.

    Haha, yeah it's pretty funny now it did that. Thanks for the opinion. And yeah, I hardly think I'd use those side pockets that are on the outside.
