I have a dell 6400 with a VX revolution mice and setpoints installed. The sensitivity on my toucpad and too low for my likings so i increase it. However when i do this the speed for the mice increase as well ! is there anyway to change their speeds seperately?

unfortunately I dont think you can. I have the same sort of problem with my asus but I have found that I can set it so that it is inbetween for both if you understand what i'm trying to say? My bluetooth mouse which came with my laptop is a bit fast but at least the touchpad isnt quite as slow.

I just opened SetPoint, which I have for my MX1000. If you go to the 2nd tab down (cursor icon), there is a setting for pointer speed. That might affect only the Logitech mouse, but I'm not certain. I'm using a desktop, so I can't play with it and try. If this SetPoint setting only affects the external mouse, I'd use the Windows settings to get your touchpad where you like it and then use SetPoint to adjust your VX to where you like that. Good luck!

I have a Logitech V270 wireless mouse for my HP laptop. I have the same problem as you, I want the mouse speed maxed with the touchpad, but then the mouse is too fast.

You should check out this program MouseSwitcher. You can set 2 different mouse speeds and switch between them with a hotkey. Beats the heck out of going to the control panel every time you take your laptop off your desk.
