I love trackballs. I find them to be more comfortable and intuitive than using a regular mouse. I have an older Logitech track ball that I use with one of my desktops. I would use it with my laptop but they tend to be a bit bulky for stowing when travelling.

totally depend on the user.

...I use a BT Wireless Mouse and I also, like it!
I tried a trackball once and it just didn't work for me. Maybe, it was because I was used to the the type of mouse I was using. I just didn't like the movement of the ball! It didn't feel right!
Perhaps, though with more practice ~ I could've gotten used to it!

P.S. switching to trackball will take a little time a adjust and I still use mouse for gaming -
Well I am willing to spend up to $40, but I think I have found something. I'm going to compare it to the original mouse I planned on buying and see how they compare.

they just come with less functions...
and personally speak, the most important point to pick a trackbacll mouse is how it fits your hand... suggest you go to some oulet / shops to view first -
Yeah, I'm now leaning away from trackball mouse
The mouse I was looking at is pretty fancy.
