Has anyone heard anything about these headphones yet (first hand experience?). How should I connect them to my Alienware M15X since it has 1 usb and 4 jacks and the AW has 2 speaker outlets and 1 for mic. Can I buy something to connect all 4 jacks or should it be ok the way it is?

You'll probably need a usb sound card, as I doubt the built-in soundcard can drive a 5.1 headset. The usb plug is probably just for power.

You should be able to still use it, but you'll be getting stereo sound instead of 5.1 and it would kind of be a waste.

The M15X does have a 5.1 sound card it can support the sound. But ya the usb is just for power as it turns out so I will be getting virtual surround. Is there like an external thing I can get to accomodate all 4 jacks?

    1) You will want an external sound card that supports surround sound, to use all 4 jacks (3 jacks for 5.1 sound, 1 jack for mic). Something like a Creative Labs X-Fi USB sound card would do very nicely.

    2) You're going to get virtual surround sound out of headphones, no matter what. This is due to the way that the human head perceives directional sound.

Every pair of "surround" headphones uses a software algorithm to "trick" your brain into thinking that it is hearing directional sound (this is called virtual surround). There is no way to get true positional sound from a pair of headphones, regardless of whether those headphones have 2 drivers in the earcups, or 6 drivers.
