    Not sure if this is the right forum - please advise.

    I have a Sony Bravia KDL-32D3000 LCD Digital Colour TV.

    I want to play a DVD from my Dell Lattitude D505 laptop on the TV.

    I have a VGA to VGA cable. But I just can't get the DVD to play on my large screen TV.

    I have the TV manual but I find the number of options overwhelming.

    How can I get my DVD to play from my laptop to the TV?
