I know very little about notebooks.. and got ripped off on the three I purchased in the past seven years... Today I got this Thinkpad 560 at a garage sale for 5-bucks, with external floppy, external CD player, 8 gig, W98, and 40 Ram which should be 64 Ram..
The panasonic CD player doesn't work, and isn't recognized by the system..?
There isn't anything to connect the Internet cable to.. I suppose it requires a special card...
I'd like to boost the W98m to W98se, but without the CD player working I need to network the notebook to the Compaq desktop... How does one connect a Thinkpad 560 to a desktop PC, to use the desktop's CD to load the notebook?
Troubles with ThinkPad 560...
