Hey, I recently purchased a ManHattan super USB HUB with 4 USB ports as well as ports and adapters for mouse, keyboard, headphones and microphones.

When the computer starts up, nothing connected to the HUB works. I find myself having to unplug, wait about 5 seconds, and then plug back in the USB HUB from the computer for things to finally begin to recognize and act as though windows is detected new hardware for it to work.

It's terribly annoying. What could be wrong and what are my solutions or options at this time?

P.S. I'm only using the 4 USB ports right now, none of the other components. Attached are, Bluetooth usb adapter, all-in-one Canon printer, wireless mouse and usb adapter for Nikon Camera.

Try booting up with just the USB hub and see if there are any problems. If it boots up fine then its probably an issue with one of the components you plugged in. Repeat the process again, this time with 1 device connected to the hub each time. Test this with all 4 components. You will eventually arrive at the component that is causing trouble.

Some devices wont work when used in a hub period, its a hit and miss thing. Then some hubs just seem to work better than others. Hub technology in general is outdated and unreliable thus why in networking you will probably never see anybody who knows anything about it buy a hub and instead would get a switch.

However what you are stating sounds like an issue with your usb driver recognizing the device (too many signals from one port I guess) again its hit and miss, depending on your hardware.
