    Troubleshoot sound device

    I'm using Toshiba Satellite Pro M200. I tried to set a sound recorder. However, it is shown in the setting of 'recording' that 'No devices is installed.' What can I do to troubleshoot this? I just want to use the builtin mic of the laptop but I cannot find it. Many thanks in advance.

    Is the soundcard itself working as it should - i.e. are you able to listen to music etc?
