I had to laugh when reading my March 2011 issue of MaximumPC. I flipped towards the back of the mag as I usually do to read their hardware reviews, when I saw a series of reviews on Razer's newest line of gaming peripherpals for StarCraft 2: the Razer Spectre gaming mouse, the Razer Marauder gaming keyboard, and the Razer Banshee gaming headset.

Needless to say, some of the comments regarding these products were spot on with what I and many other people have been saying about Razer products for years. Here's a couple of excerpts regarding the Razer Spectre gaming mouse:
The best part?
So true, and in the same regard, so sad.

P.S. Baka wants to buy the marauder keyboard :/ -
If you ask me, licensed products like this are silly to begin with. I never thought the SC2 lineup looked any good anyway. The Tron series didn't really appeal to me either. Now they've got some Dragon Age stuff as well, although it's just their original products with some artwork.
In my opinion, they shouldn't bother with this licensed crap to appeal to a sliver of their audience. I can't speak for the quality of any of the SC2 or Tron stuff since I don't own any and don't care to, but that's a shame if they're poorly made. You can laugh all you want, but Razer generally makes good quality stuff, at least in terms of their non-licensed products. -
If it sells, why not? Aside from whether the products are good or bad its silly to call them silly for making things that obviously sell well enough to justify them making them. Of course, their sales people could just be retarded but I doubt that..
