Going to need a mouse to go with my Vostro 1400. I was originally going to go for the Logitech Nano until I saw that'll cost $80 to ship where I'm at. Definitely not spending over $80 on a notebook mouse.
Narrowed it down to these three.
Uses: primarily your basic computer stuff (i.e surfing the net, documents) and occasional gaming (battlefield, rakion). I've got a tablet for my drawing and photoshop needs.
I really like mice that are between 3.5" and 4"
Logitech V150 (Laser, wired) $23
Kensington Ci25m (optical, wired with retractable cord) $19
Logitech VX revolution (laser, rf) $45
still iffy between going to wireless as well as if I really need something as fancy as the VX although its sure nice looking! I don't know if the V150 has a retractable cord, which is the main reason why I listed the Ci25 as it'll make it convenient for carrying and packing.

Go with the VX Revolution. Once you use the revolution style wheel, theres no going back.

The VX Revolution
. A beautifully designed super-mouse!

i got the color matching logictech v200 IR mouse for $15 refurbished on ebay...works great and looks brand new. no complaints.
-
the revolution all the way! in most cases more money does not mean better, but in this case..it does!
-
Revolution is a kick ass mouse and I bought it without realizing just how functional it is. The wheel on its own is definitely more superior than I've ever had.

VX Revolution is amazing. As others have mentioned, having the free-scroll wheel can be great once you get used to it, and being able to scroll in 4 directions can be handy too.
I also find it perfect because it's just slightly larger than most notebook mice - so I can use it as a desktop replacement without any discomfort, while it's still portable enough for a laptop on the go.
It's not as small as the nano however. The VX Rev was $80 originally as well. I'm sure if you wait 1 month or 2, rebates will be offered to bring it down to $40ish. -
Yea, the VX Revolution is great. I just got mine in the mail a few hours ago. It works wonderfully, and the range is amazing too.
I got mine from Amazon, it was 30 after 20 rebate. -
Like they all said, the VX is your best choice!
It's the best out of the three and worth the money you will pay. the other two are clearly cheaper but far less innovative and stylish. The VX is the best of the wireless laptop mice behind the nano of course.
Trying to decide between these three notebook mice
