This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Noticed two very interesting accessories recently that technically don't fit into the accessories section. They are stand-alone systems as well!

    Mouse Box, a mouse with a SoC in it. Surprisingly it seems to be running the ARM version of Ubuntu desktop in the demo video.

    OneBoard, a Cherry keyboard that's also an Android system.

    For people who need a more powerful system and maybe X86 for Windows/Mac, it should be technically very easy to fit a mini X86 PC into the OneBoard keyboard. The mouse would be a bit challenging if you don't want the lowest possible specs.
