Ok, this may be a crazy idea, but I wonder if Logitech, for example, has ever considered putting a U3 capable flash drive, say 1-4GB, inside the USB dongle used by many of their wireless mice?

ok! No one in OT cares about my idea. Mods can you move my thread to the Accessories category? Perhaps someone there will care.

While I'm at it I have another idea. What about a Microsoft wireless mouse with ReadyBoost and a flash drive in the USB dongle?

I've always thought including some storage in a wireless USB dongle would be a neat idea.

I get a lot of clients coming to staples and seeing the wireless mice and the USB dongle, thinking it's a flash drive. So it's probably not that crazy after all.

I think that is an awesome idea! I like it, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that surfaced in the future.

Quick get a patent on it so some one can steal the idea from you and put it into production.
