    I live in New York and am heading to London in the fall for graduate school. Does anyone know where in New York or in the U.S. for that matter that I can buy a UK outlet compatible AC adapter for my HP dv1000t?

    buy it in London or you can go to Wal Mart, Home Depot, or any electrical supplies store. you may even find one being sold at the airport
