is there such a thing where you can plug in any usb powered device (such as...oh say an ipod or zune (yay for me i just bought one off of ebay for $180 :D )) into a usb socket in the AC adapter, and it will charge no matter what? i ask because we dont have the zune up here yet, so no accessories either including the AC adapter, so instead of ebaying it in, is there one i can just go to the store and buy? remember that i am in canada, BC more specifically.

actually i have an ipod usb ac adapter, would that work with the zune?

The iPod one might work, being as it is just a usb, and I think the actual connector to the iPod works on the Zune too, though I'm not sure.

i rly dont think so, but if the ipod adapter works then that would be so great for me...but as im selling my ipod WITH the adapter, then id have to tell this guy that wants to buy it that im keeping the adapter...which will lower the price >.<

You should be able to buy a transformer that you plug into AC and it just has a USB port on it.. which puts out the same amount of volts and amps as a normal USB so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Yes, absolutely. I own a few of them. You get them on eBay for ~ 2 cents + 5$ shipping. I use it to charge up my cell phone and PSP. Those devices can be charged via dedicated USB charge&sync cables that can be purchased on eBay for a pittance.

PM me if you need help finding these items.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I have Belkin 7 port powered USB hubs attached to all of our computers. Even with the computer off, I can plug in my Palm TX, Moto Razr V3xx, and Creative Zen Vision:M60 and charge all at the same time on any of our 3 puters. And if I happen to need to, I can use the AC and car chargers from my V3xx to charge the TX or ZVM. The Belkin hubs are $40 to $50 but very worth it to me.

google for boxwave versacharger and you will find a usb device that can take a usb charging cord and plug into car socket or ac (there's a little two prong that flips out). On the Boxwave.com site they only have the new versacharger pro for $25 which has more options, but more expensive.

I have usb charger cables for all my gadgets and one of these versarchargers with me so I can always charge my phone/pda/music player/gps, etc.
