Does anyone make a sleeve or carrying case for the slim usb dvd drives? I've searched around and haven't found one.

    I have a feeling no-one would...
Its not something people will normally protect - so if the manufacturer doesn't make one...

Your could ask your girlfriend/wife to knit a sleeve for it though :)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm very surprised that there isn't a real case for them as they seem fairly fragile. I'm flabbergasted that there isn't one on ebay. As for the Built cases, I'm very doubtful it would fit as they are made so specific to the device and have very little stretch. I shoulda kept the cardboard the drive came in. :(

It might be that they are not all that expensive and most people who do carry them while traveling keep them in the case with the laptop.

Good point. I only use a sleeve for my lappy.
