There is practically no way you could ever pull it off with that type of device. You would want an HD TV tuner, which are roughly $100 for a decent one. THe problem is that it takes time to process all of the input and display it. Some games looked OK in SD from the TV Tuner I have on a dual core laptop with dedicated graphics, but HD is a lot more signal, and you will have lag from when you see things to when your movements from the controller happen. Just get an external monitor for $200 and play high def that way.

my friends laptop has a vga out and a vga in ports in his laptop. using the xbox 360 vga out adapter, he can play it on his laptop. i dont know how many laptops have that though, as his was the first i've seen it on.

by the way, i have used capture cards before, and they suck for playing games on.

Well I know I would need and HD TV Tuner, which I do have, however it only allows just standard, not HD input, so I guess I'm SOL.

I mean my Monitor I have for my desktop is an LCD 15", which puts out HD, I believe the 420p, so I'm fine.
