Ok, this is a two part question.

I bought a Logitech USB Headset/Mic, and it's awesome. Only problem is, let's say if I am watching Youtube videos, and I need to move the laptop, I usually unplug the Headset.

However, if I unplug the headset there will be no sound. The volume control works and shows the Laptop speakers, and that little *ding* noise when you drag the volume up and down, but the video sound will not work, unless I re-fresh the page, or close the page, and re-open it again.

Is there any reason for this? This also is the same if I don't have the Headset plugged in, and I plug it in.

My part two question is, I like to use another monitor with my Laptop. Makes life more easy.

But if I close the lid of the laptop, the screen on the other monitor goes black, which is fine.

But when I re-open the Laptop lid, all of my desktop gadgets (Rainmeter), will be all over the place, and I have to re-position them.

Is there a reason for this? Or a way to fix it?

Usually, you have to restart a program if you change audio devices while it's running. This is true for me of Firefox, Steam, and any games I play. If I remove my speakers and plug in my USB headset, or vice versa, it loses all sound until I close the program and start it again, at which point it works fine.
