    Hey all

I'm in the market to pick up a USB sound card for my Thinkpad T61p. The onboard audio (Soundmax HD) is not cutting it, with lots of stutter issues that Lenovo does not seem to want to fix.

What's the best USB sound card I can pick up for around $70? Ideally, I'd like it to have a built-in amplifier so I can take advantage of the 1/4" adapter that came with my nice headphones. I haven't seen much released lately in this category of products on Amazon or Newegg, so I'm not sure if these are still produced much. Thanks
