Looking for a USB Tablet to do homework on, draw simple sketches, and thats basically it. I don't really need a nice one that has really precise action or anything for photo editing, just simple pen drawings.

The bigger the better, and the cheaper the better. Anyone have any cool recommendations?

Also, I don't want to use paper, I've seen the pads with special ink and the pens that read what you write, but I'm trying to keep all my notes on my computer instead of on paper.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think I've ever seen a Bamboo priced that high. At that price, you should be able to get a used medium Intuos.

The larger Bamboos are more expensive. I have had several pen tablets, and now have a true tablet. If you do a lot of drawing you might like the larger space, but for homework get the smaller ones. I never really found a need for more space than the basic size (in 4 years of use ranging from chemistry to engineering to biology to photo editing).
