So, ever since the purchase of my Sony Vaio SR, I've fallen in love with its keyboard - not just the style - but mostly the response to touch. It feels very springy and responsive and I just love typing on this thing. I can't even go back to my Toshiba Satellite (whose keyboard feels like mush) or my default Dell keyboard anymore, because now every time I type on them, it feels like my fingers are sinking into slush.

Does anyone know of a decent model keyboard (USB or wireless) that feels good to type on, with similar properties to what I just described? I don't really want to spend over $40 on the keyboard. At that price point, what are some nice, simple keyboards that feel nice to type on? And are there any brick and mortar stores where I can actually test type on any of these keyboards?

"Feeling nice" to type on....is quite relative. What is comfortable for one, may not be so, for another. The Logitech DiNovo and Wave keyboards are pretty comfortable to type, imho.
