    Hi all,

I use a Belkin USB single-fan cooling pad for my laptop, but occasionally when I plug it in it will spike in rotation rate. I don't know how to describe it but, the fan will occasionally rev like a car engine starting up.

It didn't used to do this. Only started after about a year or so of use. Can someone tell me what the issue may be?

    Thanks!

Has anyone heard of an issue like this? At least, can you tell me if it's my computer or my cooling pad? Thanks!
