I bought a universal laptop charger a couple of days back and it has now exploded on me  Then a friend told me to check the power i need on the back of my laptop. It says 19v and 3.16A i think max. The universal charger i had used a cable of 10A. But i could change the volt to 19V. Now i'm wondering what should i do.

Should i buy my original samsung charger for around 40-50 or should i get the universal charger for just 20 ? Couldn't i just get a cable that is 3A and use it with the universal charger ?

Btw, the universal charger is called Meind i think.

    Thanks for the help :)

I personally stay away from 3rd party charger. It is just hit and miss - more miss than hit.

    cheers ...

I'm gonna agree on that one unless you have proof that someone has the charger working for the laptop that you have. "Better safe than sorry"
