    Recently I got a 90w universal power adapter made by IGO as shown here :

    Amazon.com: iGo PS00124-0001 90-Watt Wall Max Universal Charger (Black): Electronics

    I intend to use it with my Asus N61JQ laptop, but I'm not really sure if they are compatible. One of the tips seems to fit correctly, but should I be concerned about the -/+ pole of the tip ? Do all laptops have the same -/+ pole on the tip? I want to make sure before I do something stupid. Thanks

    @OP

    I would be VERY CAUTIOUS about buying from asonma. First off, the site seems extremely new. Second, if you go to the bottom of the page, the site says that it is "VeriSign Secured". I'm pretty sure that sites that actually have the "VeriSign Secured" logo do not have it as an image, but as an element that must be pulled from VeriSign itself. Hence, this is also of concern.

    I tried placing an order and it does use HTTPS for the checkout page, so the website might be legit. But it is extremely new. BE CAUTIOUS!

    Sincerely dont buy a cheap psu. Go for either the thermaltake thoughpower 95w slim, or the USNA 95 or USN 95 (both coolermaster), those are of great quality.

    I have bought 5 PSUs, all of them fried in due time, and that due time was usually 2-3 months after i bought it. Sometimes it was 1 week after
