    Hi Guys,

    my HP power adapter screwed up and is not working, and i am thinking for purchaseing a new one, the one from HP is around $80 and i found a universal adapter at walmart for $50 so i was wondering is it safe to use the universal one will it damage my laptop?
    a friend of mine bought an universal adapter for his sony laptop and it screwed his, HELP

    though it says compatible for dv2500t cto, in the tech specs it shows 65W, but my original one from HP is 90W. will that make a difference?
