I bought a Creative Zen 8GB yesterday and just a few minutes ago it forze and has done nothing I tried pressing the off button for 30 seconds and nothing! OH well I got a extra 2 year warranty from futureshop and I am guessing this is going to be my last Creative product if it does not pull through, what should I buy if this thing is bugged around the $150 range?

You could look at the Sandisk Sansa range, but the Sansa View is currently buggy.

Do you have ideas of what you want in your MP3? Video, radio.. ect?

A price range? In your plead for ideas for new MP3's, it's very vague which makes it hard for users to suggest MP3's.

What were you doing when it froze? I have a creative zen vision m and the only time it freezes is if I scroll too fast through songs while one is playing. Aparantly this happened alot with my model, and if I didnt power scroll through its fine. Each time I had to do a hard reset on the bottom.

Other then that mine has run beautifully.

I was actually listening to the radio scanning and taking it out of hold. And i guess it was mostly my fault and there are no other Mp3 options in my price range at Futureshop so i am sticking to this.

In my definition if it plugs into a computer then it is an accessory.

Yeah aparantly on the creative forums this seems to be a major problem with thier mp3 players. They multitask like crap. Its not your fault from what I can see, it sucks that this is an issue at all. But for the last year it seems they havnt been able to do anything about it.

Hard resetting it on the bottom did nothing to the device itself other then lose its place on what it was doing, much like a CPU that crashes.

I have got a 2 year warranty, so if I want something else I will return this, I think I can return stuff with the warranty.
