Hi,
Well, i cant seem to find any solution from Google - I have to re-insert the usb mouse in order to get it to work. Any ideas? Buying a desktop system or disable the touchpad isnt valid options.

Go to Device Manager, and check to make sure, under Power Managment Tab of the USB ports/controllers, that all the boxes are unchecked in there. Try that.

what about going to power options and than set standby/hibernation to "never".
also turn off monitor and hard disk to anything u would like -

So it must be possible, somehow.
