Looking to buy a Dock to use for an older lsptop HP 430G3 which i carry over to the office and does not have i usbc. Want to connect multiple Monitors and bot have to connect cables all the time besides power and the Dock.

Ive been searching this past week and unless you can convince me otherwise im looking at either the Dell D6000 or the Lenovo Thinkpad Hybrid. I like these two since they offer both usb3 and usbc connectivity so when i uograde to a usbc laptop i get an immediate upgrade from these docks and wont have to buy a new one.

-Dell offers 3 Monitor Support 1 hdmi and 2 display port and i can find it slighly cheaper like 25 euros less. 65W Charge over usbc

-Thinkpad offers 2 Monitor support. Has 4 actually 2 hdmi and 2 Dp, but each coyple shares the same port. So for example you can either use Hdmi1 or DP1 and not at the same time. (Already using two and was thinking of getting a thrid one, so ill guess if that happens ill have to connect that directly on my laptops Hdmi and dont have a one cable solution anymore)

This Dock also has a power button and charges 90w from USbc.

If you have anything better at the same price range ot something significantly cheaper that offers all of the above id like to hear them. I really need to make a choice by the end of this week.

P.S. have not used a DP connection before but i hear you can split signal into two Monitors? So could i like have both Monitors at Dp1 and then connect the 3rd to Hdmi2 or use two more on DP2?

I have some experience with the Lenovo hybrid dock (daily driving one at work).
It has a built-in usb gpu, I've used one with Surface Pro4 and it worked just fine. Did not charge the tablet obviously.

Unlike usb gpus few years ago, that one is actually pretty good. Running dual 1440p monitors I don't feel lag having full screen excel sheets, stuff like that and even full screen video playback works.

I do not believe daisy chaining display ports would work.
