    Hi there,
it's possible to use a Logitech wireless mouse with integrated notebook wifi card (b/g)?
I know that a bluetooth it's great for that, but now I have my wireless (no BT) kit notebook+mouse and I lost the usb receiver.

Can I use integrated wifi lan card instead of the mouse-keyboard own receiver?
    :) :)

Actually, I think wireless mouse / keyboard use somo kind infrared (IR) technology yo connect to the USB dongle they provide.

Your integrated wifi a/b/g/ connects using radio frequency.

However the name sounds alike, they have nothing to do with each other.

thats why they call it cordless mouse instead of wireless to lessen the confusion. and yeah, you can't use the wifi feature for the mouse. thats kinda like using your remote control as a wireless modem to get online lol

The modern keyboard-mouse Logitech use omnidirectional radiofrequency 2,4 ghz and not monodirectional IR as a remote control does.

It seems that the only solution is BT. :(

802.11 is not optimized for peripheral use like you ar considereing. If someone made a mouse that operated over 802.11, they would have poor battery life on the mouse. One of the assets of BlueTooth is that it was designed with power consumption in mind.
