Hi. I know there are laptop coolers which connects to the AC or to a USB port on your laptop. I have been using one that connects to a usb port via my laptop to receive its power. I was just wondering if I constantly use the usb port on my laptop to power my laptop cooler everyday, will that eventually wear out or damage that usb port?

    Thanks.

I think the hard drive would fail before the USB port does.

as long as it's being inserted and taken out with care, i don't think you have anything to worry about.

Not a problem, the only thing to really consider if whether your fan will spin faster when connected to AC power rather than USB which is often the case. But in terms of wearing out the USB port you're just fine.
