    Do they make such adaptors or adaptors from VGA to Svideo. I have a 19 inch CRT and i want to convert it to a TV cheapest as possible since i have a spare VCR. Any ideaS?

    Wow, $200. If you have an old computer laying around you can just install a cheap TV tuner card. Mine cost $40 a year ago and it works great. It has coaxial and RCA inputs and you can even use it like a DVR (may require bigger hdd).

    So, if you don't mind an old desktop sitting near your monitor and don't mind having to run the computer while using it then this may be a good option. The interface that displays your TV/VCR on your monitor will have a fullscreen option, so you don't see any indication that it's running through a computer. Beware that the low res signals may not look that good on your monitor anyway. For $40 or less, why not.

    It's $100 and I believe it does what you want. Just Google search for "watch TV on monitor" or "turn monitor to television" or something.

    They need to make an adaptor that is VGA out to RCA video IN. BAHHH. I should invent one.

    you guys are looking for thease big adapters and converters...why not look for somethign alittle more simple, like a conversion cable, try doing a froogle search for rca to vga

    I bought a cable once that was a VGA to S-vid. I couldn't get the stupid thing to work, the computer wouldn't recognise it was a tv I was hooking up, not a monitor. I still have that thing, unfortunately
