Is the VX Nano okay for semi serious gaming?
Does it go into 'sleep' mode quicky resulting in lag when you move the mouse?
-
semi serious maybe, it would go into sleep mode if not used for a given period
-
Are we talking minutes here or seconds? -
I got my VX Nano a few weeks ago and use it for gaming... FPS, MMO's, RTS etc. sleep mode comes into play after 90 sec's. I have never had a problem with it... and love the mouse
-
the nano has a lower 800dpi when compared to other laser type gaming mice....not sure if it really matters though?
-
If the Nano goes to sleep on your during a game you are probably playing online Chess without a timer in which case a 2 second delay likely won't kill you.
I am not a serious gamer by any means but it seems like it could be used for gaming. Despite the smaller size being a notebook mouse it is comfortable to use for long periods of time. If you are one of those people concerned about the DPI of the laser, adjustable settings, or a large gaming size it is probably not for you. It is a very accurate mouse though that glides very easily and has some extra buttons you can customize. Being extremely portable with the small size and receiver it is greatest advantage however. -
Does anyone know the weight of the Nano VX mouse?
Logitech.com does not mention it. I need a very light mouse to prevent RSI. -
-
since the scroll wheel can't really be "clicked", how's that affect gaming? for half life 2 or FEAR and other single player games (RTS and FPS)
-
I ll say.. Its not for Serious Gamers....Casual gaming its good... but for Competitive gaming u need higher DPI, Higher Poll Rate, better Design, Better Tracking,
The gaming-grade mouse dont Stall when moved at High speeds...
But for Casual fun gaming your mouse is PERFECT
I am into Counter-strike tournaments so i have bought Razer DeathAdder + Razer Mantis. -
thanks! i'm not into multiplayer or competitions or such and i usually play the single player campaigns so i guess this'll be fine
-
If the mouse goes to sleep on you, it probaly won't matter at all. If you're playing a twitch game, you would be keeping the mouse very active anyway.
