I broke my original receiver for this mouse. I have purchased a replacement receiver, but cannot get it to recognize my mouse. Is there a process for synchronizing the replacement receiver with the mouse?

I downloaded the SetPoint software, but I cannot find a solution there.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Yeah, David. I think I did.

The part number of the mouse is 810-000570. The receiver is 839-000055.

there should a "connect utility" under logitech on the start menu after you installed setpoint, use that.

Yes, as lee_what2004 mentioned, use the Logitech Connection Utility. Make sure you download the newest versions of the Connection Utility and Setpoint. The older versions of Setpoint is known to cause crashes with the newer Connection Utility software.

Where did you buy the receiver: USB mini-receiver with P/N 839-000055 is for the VX Revolution mouse with P/N 810-000570. I need to buy one but Logitech does not have one though, or so the webpage states. Will appreciate this info. thanks.
